A classic Norwegian specimen, this 5 cm, tannish-grey chlorapatite is from the Snarum area in Buskerud. Sharp and well-defined, this multi-faced crystal is without matrix, and has one repair. The termination is quite good, as are the prism faces. There is even a sharp re-entrant that adds mineralogical and visual interest. it seems repaired at the 1/3-up point, but we are not entirely sure that is not just a natural crack. Easily over 100 years old, this is a fine, single classic for this area.
