A wonderful non-Alpine "Iron Rose" of Hematite from the classic Ouro Preto district in Brazil. The hexagonal blades on this specimen have excellent, splendent, metallic silvery-grey faces forming the classic "rose" shape that makes these specimens so desirable. The piece is complete on all sides, save the bottom where it came off the matrix. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
