Very fine set of Opals from Ethiopia. These are the two halves from one nodule, with the majority of the nodule being composed of gemmy, deep red-amber-colored Opal. The Opal exhibits an impressive amount of green, gold, red, and orange fire. These aesthetic Opals are being sold as a set. From the earlier years of Ethiopian opals export, as we have not seen so many recently. Shown in the Munich exhibition of African thumbnails, in 2012. PHOTOS CANNOT CAPTURE the full beauty of this rich specimen. It is way beyond the typical nodule.
