A totally unique thumbnail, a lavender sugilite ball from the Wessels Mine of South Africa. Sugilite is a rare potassium, sodium, iron, manganese, aluminum, lithium silicate. The ball is complete-all-around and pristine and is set on a gossan crust. I have never seen a Wessels sugilite remotely similar to this.
