This elbaite came out of Afghanistan in the late 1970's. It has a translucent light pink body grading into light green multi crystal terminations which enhances the tapering effect of the main crystal itself. Despite the size, it is unrepaired and nearly pristine (a few tiny contactson the rear of the term.) It exhibits a high degree of luster and flashes light at you from about any angle...A HUGE, COLORFUL tourmaline! 13 x 3.6 x 2.3 cm (WEIGHT = 244 grams)
