This glittering golden pyramid is actually a pseudomorph of pyrite after an unusually formed large crystal of pyrrhotite - on close inspection, a compound crystal with a narrow hollow running down the center. Little calcites have formed on top of the pyrite. Ex. Stoudt Collection.
