Another killer Las Vigas amethyst specimen, this one still accompanied by a $400 label from the previous dealer. A single 5.5-cm crystal rises dramatically from the matrix at one end. At the other end is a cluster of super-gemmy, doubly-terminated crystals. All the crystals have an intense purple glow that is characteristic of this world-class amethyst locality.
