A big, fat pink tourmaline crystal from the Pala Chief, a locality from which it is hard to find specimens now. The one drawback to this crystal is that the termination has been (lightly) polished. The body of the crystal lights up an amazingly hot pink color under good light. It is translucent-to-transparent. This is an old-time piece. Weighs 23 grams. Ex. Bill Larson Collection.
