I have always had a love for cerussite and this one really talks to me. The matrix is comprised of galena(nice contrast!) on which rests several groups of salmon colored Baryte blades. Rising up from the matrix is a huge, 7 cm crystal of smokey-hued, doubly terminated, AND cyclic twinned, cerussite. It has exceptional color and luster for this famous find (I believe these are from the 1970s) and is among the most presentable and impressive such specimens that I have seen for sale. The symmetrical quality of the crystal, and its arrangement on matrix, cannot be overstated. It is a competition-level piece! 6.5 x 7 x 6 cm
