A MAJOR specimen from this shocking find of fabulous purple botryoidal fluorite, in China! They look like big purple turtles! Botryoidal fluorites have always been rare from anywhere, and these gorgeous purple ones, sometime reaching prodigious size (such as this one), just blew the mineral collecting world away. I was lucky to get some of the very best ones.
