A rare, old ore specimen of solid native antimony from an uncommon California locality - the Tom Moore Mine, Erskine Creek, Kern County. The moderate-luster, battleship-gray, massive antimony has an oxidized rind coating the native metal. Hefty for its size at 59 grams or just over 2 ounces. Ex. Giles Mead and Cal Tech Collections.
