The Uchucchacua mine has produced some of the finest quality Rhodochrosite specimens around. Their attractive crystal habit combined with rich pink and red colors make for some beautiful display specimens. This thumbnail size specimen hosts several sharp, lustrous, gemmy, reddish-pink color modified scalenohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 5 mm on matrix.
