A sculptural and dramatic, large cabinet fluorite and quartz specimen. The hole in the etched quartz surrounded by the partial halo of green fluorite and the fluorite octahedrons is striking. This Chinese fluorite find has to be one of the most exciting of the past five years - large plates of razor-sharp octahedrons with unique purple and green tones, in contrasting stark white quartz. The mining has stopped now - any specimens you see are from existing stock. The crystals on this plate measure to 3.0 cm.
