The classic bright blue azurite from the Copper Queen Mine, circa late 1890s, wes world-reknowned at the time for this play of vibrant blue hues all mixed together. This is a superb example showing why it was treasured around the world for the unique mix of colors which still stands on its own merits today and has not been replicated in quite this style by other azurites.
