Crystals to 1 cm cover the entire front, edges AND back of this large specimen! There I just one thin little point of attachment in one place on the entire specimen, making this very nearly a big floater! Apparently, this thin ridge of matrix was exposed on all sides in the pocket, allowing crystals to form all over its surface. ONE OF THE LARGEST GOOD SPECIMENS I OBTAINED FROM THE COLLECTOR - NEW FROM THE COSTA MESA SHOW. The two flats I had were, to my eye, the best of this first season's mining efforts in terms of aesthetics and color, crystal size, and sheer visual pizzazz. NOTE: these are sensitive to lighting and actually appear as a much deeper/richer green color in fluorescent tube lights than under halogen or sun-natural lighting, in contrast to many mineral specimens. 16 x 10 x 4 cm
