This specimen is close to 100 years old. Titanite from the Alps is one of the most treasured and highly sought after of all Alpine species, especially in Italy, Austria and Switzerland. This piece features very attractive, incredibly beautiful, gemmy, bright green color twinned crystals of Titanite (Sphene) with associated Calcite on matrix. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
