The Braen Quarry in New Jersey has been a seldom collected quarry for years, but has been a source of excellent Zeolite specimens and associated species. This piece features no Zeolites, but it hosts lovely "water green" color crystals of Datolite. The crystals have superb luster and razor sharp faces, along with nearly water-clear transparency in areas. Even though the largest Datolite crystal measures 0.9 cm, the quality is superb, and one does not see Datolite of this quality from virtually any locality. A wonderful example of this classic Trap Rock material. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
