Large (2.9 cm) and very attractive Grossular from a relatively unknown location. The main crystals here have an unbelievable luster - about as good as you could possibly imagine, and a lovely cinnamon color. The internal fractures give the garnets a distinctive and quite attractive leathery appearance, but the high luster would never actually allow you think it actually was.
