Lustrous, well formed olive-green prisms to 7 mm with mustard caps abound on this CABINET plate of contrasting hematite-stained Baryte from the famous Les Farges Mine of France. There is a great variation between patches of smaller and larger crystals, clumps and isolated crystals, that grow in all directions. This plate is essentially pristine, which speaks of the collecting abilities of the French miners! The back of this plate has been sawed. 10.0 x 7.4 x 3.2 cm
