This is a lovely, elegant, stalactitic, freeform sculpture of lustrous, light pink rhodochrosite on a bit of matrix. The spherical aggregates average 5 mm across and combine to form this unusual piece. Highly aesthetic and curvy in a way not often seen for this species. Ex. Dr. W.S. Logan Collection. Featured in his self-published book RHODOCHROSITE: Crystals of Drama and Nuance, page 141.
