A RARE, OLD and LARGE coffee-colored, gemmy crystal of smoky quartz from Pikes Peak, Colorado. It has wonderful form, with terracing and stepping on its faces adding great character to the stately crystal. It was sawn flat on the bottom to remove it from the pocket, and it therefore stands up nicely on its own. No damage - some natural contact faces on the back where it grew against other crystals.
