Lovely zoned Fluorite from the Annabel Lee Mine. The crystals are dominated by a large core of yellow, surrounded by a gemmy, teal-blue zone. There are also highly unusual, linear, purple inclusions along the faces of the Fluorites, which add to the mineralogical interest, as well as the visual. The unique and strange inclusions may be bits of sulfides or petroleum. There is a little bit of edge wear, not surprising for crystals this large, but the piece was good enough to be in Ross' personal collection. You can see why - it stands out! A bonus is the very good blue-white fluorescence. Comes with a custom base. Mined in 1993. RCL1722
