This is an incredibly thick "book" of thin sheets of phlogopite mica from Canada - it is hard to imagine how many are in this 3.5-cm thick stack. You can see the sharp hexagonal outline clearly here, the dark, smoky color, and the high reflectivity. On the back side of the specimen is light green, microcrystalline diopside.
