A BEAUTIFUL and UNUSUAL, doubly terminated, partially sceptered amethyst crystal with smoky highlights from the famous Goboboseb Mountains of Namibia. This flattened beauty is very glassy and has very distinctive stepped-growth faces. The unusual, steep termination and sidecar crystals make for a UNIQUE specimen. Complete all-around, there is one small contact on the back and the trivial edge wear on the sidecar is certainly not a detraction. Excellent material from the Dave Mansfield Collection.
