This is an OLD English specimen of a classic association from the Derbyshire mining district - golden-brown, microcrystalline bladed siderite with fluorite. There is a WHOPPER crystal of fluorite here that gives the specimen a lot of structure and character, rather than being just a blob: it measures 5 cm across the edge (!), and is free of siderite at one end - this side of the other crystals is exposed as well. Tiny gem-like crystals of quartz have grown on the exposed surfaces of the fluorites.
