This is a very fine specimen from a find of several years ago, of azurite and associated minerals from Brazil. What makes it special are two reasons: firstly, pseudomorphs were uncommon and most that you did see were only partial while this is a complete replacement of the azurite crystals by malachite; and secondly, there is a second generation of primary malachite, in the form of round balls, deposited around the crystals. This unusual combination really adds pizzazz to the piece, I think!
