A beautiful and striking azurite specimen from 2005 finds at the Tongshan Mine of China. Sparkling, midnight-blue azurite crystals with royal-blue highlights fill a very well-placed vug in gossan matrix. The top of the vug is beautifully outlined and highlighted by banded, chatoyant, velvet malachite.
