Well-crystallized quartz is uncommon to rare at the Tsumeb Mine. Quartz at Tsumeb is most commonly massive. A richly lined vug is aesthetically filled with sharp quartz crystals that are coated with a sparkly druse of pastel-pink, cobaltoan dolomite. The large crystal is 2.9 cm and the little gem, calcite rhomb on it is very nice. Ex. Rob Smith Collection.
