These beautiful green fluorites are from a new locality in the mountains of Grant County, New Mexico! A friend of mine has started a new claim working in these rugged mountains, pulling out these bright, lustrous green fluorite specimens which are quite different from the more famous and classic purple octahedrons formerly seen from claims in these mountains! NOTE: these are sensitive to lighting and actually appear as a much deeper/richer green color in fluorescent tube lights than under halogen or sun-natural lighting, in contrast to many mineral specimens. This is a large piece, with crystals to 1.8 cm along the top, and a field of small, light green, transparent crystals covering the bottom of the specimen. 13.5 x 9.5 x 3.8 cm
