Milpillas has stunned the mineral world with brilliantly lustrous Tsumeb-quality azurite specimens. However, most of them are small pieces, or large pieces with small crystals upon them. This specimen is an unusual habit for the finds which have trickled out since Denver of 2007, and which were written up in the Mineralogical Record. The crystal size and chisel-like habit, and the arrangement on matrix, strongly suggest Tsumeb material. It was mined in July of 2008. Weighs 490 grams.
