This pair of intergrown Brookite blades are well-formed, translucent, and brownish-red. The luster varies from matte to very good, and it has almost a metallic shimmer where the luster is good. Save for the contact at the base, the crystals are in excellent condition. A very good, classic Alpine-type brookite from this important locality! It probably came out in the 1980s. It is thicker and somewhat more hefty than its modern Pakistani cousins.
