A gorgeous thumber featuring two big, cherry-red, lustrous and UNUSUALLY transparent spessartines on a crystal of schorl tourmaline. The schorl is not terminated, but on this specimen it serves really as a base for the spessartines anyway. The spessartines are large, measuring to 1.7 cm. Ex. Gary Hansen collection.
