A fine, old-time, crossed swords of sharp malachite after azurite crystals from the Copper Queen Mine at Bisbee. The edge of one "sword" is a contact, not a break. This historic specimen has a super provenance and certainly dates to around 1900 or earlier: Ex. Roebling Collection, with a low acquistion number, 2637; Ex. Smithsonian; Ex. New Mexico Bureau of Mines; and Ex. Jaime Bird Collection. Jaime bought the piece in 1977.
