A large matrix specimen of pyromorphite on quartz from the most famous East Coast pyromorphite locale. These were mined mostly in the late 1800s to early 1900s, and large pieces with good coverage are scarce today, only coming from old collections as they recycle. Although the crystals here are small, to several mm, there are over a hundred of them. Old classic material. Ex. Harold Urish Collection.
