WOW! THIS is truly an impressive Michigan silver! It has been owened by several of the great native-element collectors of our time in Scott and Ed (who sold/traded it to me recently). The piece is good on BOTH sides, really, and shows superb crystallization from top to bottom! It has a multitoned, bright NATURAL PATINA to it, and has not been chemically cleaned. Comes with a hardened hobby-clay base so it will stand on its own, made by Ed in his kitchen oven. Michigan silvers of any quality in this size are simply NOT readily available on the market and this is one of a very few cabinet silvers I have seen for a relatively reasonable price range (say, under 20-25k) that has ever appealed to me in the least (and it appeals a lot more than "least," too!). 9.5 x 5.5 x 2.5 cm
