An excellent, doubly terminated, smoky quartz scepter from recent finds in Namaqualand, South Africa. The scepter has very interesting color zoning and the crystal has good luster, with gently striated faces. These fine South African smoky quartz crystals show both wonderful clarity and gorgeous form - long, slender and elegant and rival Swiss and Brandberg smoky quartz. Smoky quartz scepters from Namaqualand are very uncommon.
