A fine, classic and old-time specimen from the Wheal Gorland of Cornwall. A "nest" of very sparkly, dark forest-green, botryoidal, olivenite microcrystals is surrounded and "protected" by botryoidal, radial sprays of lighter green olivenite crystals on a quartz-rich matrix. Primary production at Wheal Gorland was over by 1851. Ex. Brent Lockhart Collection.
