An unusual, "L" shaped, doubly-terminated, lustrous, bronze colored crystal of pyrrhotite measures 4 cm in length. A mass of tan calcite covers most of the horizontal portion of the pyrrhotite crystal, which gives some contrast. Great quality and aesthetics on this rare old classic! These were found in the 1960s and early 1970s, I am told. Ex Consie Prince Collection, Helmut Brueckner
