Gemmy, golden-brown rutile needles are showingly displayed in jackstraw fashion in this water-clear quartz crystal cluster from Diamantina, Brazil. I particularly like the way some of the rutile needles protrude out of the large quartz crystal termination faces. The termination tip has the very faintest of edge wear, which is barely discernable and is certainly not a detraction. Classic material from this well-known locality.
