This specimen LOOKS somewhat like Vesper Peak garnets, but I trusted to the labels that it is from some other (obscure!) claim in the same general area. It is a sparkling, gorgeous specimen in any case! It has old labels form both Bart Cannon and Scott Williams (collection, not dealer stock). Turns out that, indeed, there are several Skarn Pods running through Vesper Peak for several miles. One of these skarn pods NEARBY Vesper Peak is called Teenage Crush, hence the similar appearance to Vespar Peak garnet. 4.6 x 3.3 x 1 cm
