Biggest in the parcel I received at Munich, supposedly the entire contents of a small pocket recently hit at this old mine. It produces sparsely. But when it hits, it hits! This crystal is doubly terminated, with a very well defined termination atop (especially for this locale) and an etched but complete bottom. The crystal is glassy and gemmy with an incredible, rich, teal blue color and a slight transition to green at the base. The gem weight is 17.72 carats. Note the fatness of the crystal here - others in the lot tend to be much more slender. Superb and dramatic, full sized thumbnail crystal with the classic Paraiba color and a great gemminess to it - it glows with even minimal backlighting! It is a mesmerizing thumbnail of such intensity, its really just emblematic of the material from this mine.
