Vivid, rich blue euclase of this hue comes, rather came, only from small workings in this topaz mine, in intermittent spurts from the 1960s on. A recent find came out actually just a few years ago, some of large crystals, but few with this rich classic color. This is an old specimen. It is a superb thumbnail with an unusually sharp termination and a very intense blue color. Ex. Marilyn Dodge Collection.
