The Wessels Mine has arguably produced some of the finest hausmannite specimens in the world and this is an excellent and aesthetic example. The camera can only attempt to capture the sharpness and mirror luster of these superb, intergrown hausmannite crystals that form striking pseudo-octahedrons.
