A sharp, gemmy, exceptionally translucent and glassy apatite crystal nestles snugly in bladed muscovite in this classic assemblage specimen from Chumar Bakhoor. The apatite is just about 2 cm across and is actually a composite of two intergrown crystals, it seems. The apatite is gemmier than usual and the muscovite more individualized than usual...altogether a very fine large miniature for the price.
