A very large, green to black epidote crystal from a very UNCOMMON Madagascar locality. The crystal is complete all-around, with a chisel termination and the trivial amount of rubbing is insignificant. I have never seen an epidote from this locality. Old material of dealer Dr. Gary Hansen and not shown since the early 1980s! 6.9 x 6.0 x 4.1 cm
