A beautiful cluster of highly lustrous, prismatic arfvedsonite crystals accented with sharp, contrasting, orange zircon crystals 1.3 cm from recent finds at Mt. Malosa, Malawi. Crystals reach 6.0 cm, which is large for the species and locale. A 4.3 cm arfvedsonite crystal is partially etched away. Arfvedsonite is an uncommon amphibole group species and this is simply an outstanding combination specimen from this locale.
