An aesthetic and nicely composed subparallel grouping of Tantalite-(Fe) crystals are complemented by a pink, nicely formed Fluorapatite crystal. This is a sharp and contrasting pegmatite combination piece with great contrast between the 4.5cm, shiny black, subparallel and slightly divergent Tantalite blades and the 2.2cm sharply formed, pink, tabular, hexagonal Fluorapatite crystal perched right on top! For added effect is a single, 0.7cm, stark white Albite crystal set on the Tantalite blades! Nicely balanced for color, contrast and composition...both in the artistic and chemical context! Superb! Ex. Herb Obodda collection #1873 (and he brought it out of Pakistan himself). A unique pegmatite specimen.
