This mine has produced some very well known Rhodochrosite specimens in its history. This piece has some very attractive orangish-pink colored Rhodochrosite "rosettes" which are associated with gem quality prismatic Quartz "sprays" and minor sulfides. The Rhodos are rather lustrous and gemmy with a color that is rarely seen from the Sunnyside mine. Ex. Kosnar Collection.
