New finds of crystallized azurite always cause a great deal of excitement, as did this fairly recent find in Mexico. It was not a large find, particularly when it comes to good crystallized specimens without a lot of damage. So specimens such as this one from the find, with sharp azurite crystals that have pseudomorphed to velvety malachite, are prized.
