These just seem to get bought as soon as they appear, at almost any price. The claim is covered up and not productive. Few are left on the market. And when you think about it, there is a good reason for it: these red beryls are infinitely more rare than green beryls (emeralds), and even with the prices having gone up as they have, are still not priced any higher! This is a LARGE crystal measuring a full centimeter across the top (and 1.3 cm in length). It is terminated on top and still attached to matrix on the bottom, well-exposed overall. Most of the crystal is bright red and has good gemminess. 7.9 x 4.9 x 5.5 cm
